Sherrie's Story
Life
My life has made a huge turn since my last update many years ago. I moved to San Diego in 2007 to work for the military hospital as a Certified Nurse Midwife. My husband of 18 years Jon died from complications from chemo (lymphoma) which was the most devastating thing I had been through. My mother and brother Jerry died right around that time as well. I dove heavily into meditation and became an instructor. It gave me perspective and inner peace! I have learned a lot about myself, death and dying since I was hit so hard all...Expand for more
at once. I am a stronger person for all that I went through.
I now continue to deliver babies in San Diego at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, CA. I am married to another Certified Nurse Midwife. We go around the country teaching Doctors, Midwives and Nurses how to deal with Obstetrical emergencies. We own a restaurant in the San Diego downtown area called WhipHand!
I am a PROUD mama of 3 amazing children. Flax(41) Rhiana(37) and Tanen(30). My husband and I have 10 grandchildren between the two of us from ages 23 yr old to 8mos.
